Regional Sales Manager for Simatek A/S: Spain, Italy, UK and outside Europe

On behalf of our client Simatek, Career | a JKS Company is looking for an ambitious and self-driven Regional Sales Manager, who can establish new and strengthen existing relationships with customers in Spain, Italy and UK with the opportunity to expand into markets outside Europe.

They are a manufacturer of industrial emission and air pollution control solutions. Simatek have experienced significant growth the recent years and see potential for further growth, both in terms of the current main markets and by expanding into new ones.

About the job
The position involves selling components and standard components to customers throughout South Europe and UK. Your role will be to expand these markets within bag-filters for Feed & Grain, Recycling and Biomass industry.

With a flat organization where independence, responsibility and a strong work ethic are in focus, you will have the freedom to drive your own initiatives and take ownership of your tasks.

You will be part of an international sales team with seven colleagues across France, Germany, and Denmark. Here, close collaboration and a strong sense of community are highly valued, as you and your colleagues work together and share knowledge to achieve the best results.

About your tasks
As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the expansion of Simatek's Dust Collection and Aspiration (DCA) filters which among others will involve:

  • Plan and execute on sales activities to meet determined objectives within Spain, Italy and UK
  • Develop and retain key customer contacts to build long-term profitable relationships
  • Build long lasting relationships with customers to enhance sales opportunities
  • Be a part of price negotiations and review of contracts
  • Participates in Fairs and Conferences within specified geographical areas

You will stay well informed about market trends to conduct assessments of long-term market needs. You will also implement strategies and growth plans for the individual markets and collaborate closely with Product Managers on technical questions in sales processes as a foundation for the product offering which meets the clients’ needs in a commercially relevant manner.

Your expertise and experience
Ideally you have a technical foundation, and are experienced with conveying technical knowledge to customers or the desire to be challenged technically, and are able to immerse yourself in the technical world.

You have a commercial mindset and are used to working in a result driven environment. You have experience with international sales and in developing new accounts from manufacturing and industrial companies. You also have good communication and presentation skills, and you are team focused but can also work independently.

It is an advantage that you have certain experience with sales in the South European market, with focus on Spain and can speak the language. It is also an advantage, but not a requirement, to have experience with the filter industry and in industries related to Simatek business like Food & Dairy, Feed and Grain, Biomass or Recycling.

You have strong communication skills and are fluent in Spanish and English, while understanding Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. You are also proficient in IT, including MS Office and Excel. Simatek uses HubSpot as a sales management tool.

You are offered a competitive salary package matching your qualifications, including pension and health insurance. You should expect 7-8 travelling days a month.
